Here's Chance Encounter slumbering in hibernation awaiting the end of March when she will be craned back onto the mooring for the next season. Externally and internally she is in excellent condition, being much cherished by her previous owners, John and Kath. John is sadly no longer with us, but I intend to do my utmost to maintain his standard in the upkeep of the lovely cruiser. She was originally moored at Lincoln Marina and was moved to the Thames in 1998. I'm told she is listed in a directory of boats, featuring the fine timbered ceiling in the main cabin but I don't have the details......if you do, please let me know. My task for this year will be to update the beds and cushions with new and replace the soft furnishings. The wiring may get a slight tidy up too. Here's to plenty of leisure time downstream in my "floating weekend cottage"!!
